Role: The BDE is tasked with the responsibility of growing the business through:
- new customer acquisitions and
- selling additional services to existing ones.
- Researching organizations for their needs and identifying targets through internet search, professional groups and other social media sites.
- Learning and co-ordinating with executives in positions of authority at businesses within and outside India.
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
- Understand requirement of businesses and seek information to explore opportunities for engagements
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Documentation – an integral part of the work – to write reports and provide feedback to the senior management about what works and how things could be improved.
In addition to a demonstrated capability in a similar role, result oriented, ambition to expand and diversify our clientele, networking and having the ability to work on one’s own initiative are the minimum critical requirements in the candidate. Other must haves include: socially adept, good with numbers, strong in oral and written communication, creative, ability to solve tough problems, attention to detail and excellent time management and organization.
Rewards: Compensation is not a constraint for the right candidate and if the executive can deliver new clients and high sales volumes consistently, their day-to-day methods and schedules will be left largely up to them.
