ROLE DESCRIPTION

Analytic Edge, is looking to hire a key account manager to maintain solid relationships with the company’s key clients. The key account manager’s responsibilities include growing the company’s business in LATAM region, by ensuring that key clients are satisfied with the services provided, identifying new business opportunities for key clients, and attending all meetings, conferences, and training workshops. You should also be able to develop relationships with potential clients.

To be successful as a key account manager, you should be able to analyze data and statistics and to improve clients´ business and marketing strategies. Ultimately, an exceptional key account manager should be able to manage multiple key accounts without compromising on the quality of services provided.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Acting as a liaison between the client and departments within the company to convey information, ensure understanding, and make certain everything gets done in an accurate, timely manner
  • Making the client aware of other services and actions that may lead to greater success
  • Monitoring the client’s budget, explaining services, and negotiating new terms if necessary
  • Keeping up on trends, changes, and competitor actions that might affect their client
  • Providing progress reports to clients and upper management
  • Manage clients´ relationships across different geographies within Latin America
  • Handling and tracking projects´ progress with each client
  • Willing to work with different time zones (early/late morning/night) to collaborate with Analytic Edge team based in India

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing communications, public relations, or something similar.
  • Business Analytics and/or Market Insights experience (Preferably with an Insights/Analytic Agency like Nielsen/Kantar or similar)
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Two years of proven experience in Account Management (Preferably in Fast Moving Consumer Goods companies)
  • Proven experience in B2B project management
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software.
  • Experience working with different geographies and cultures will be a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

JOB LOCATION & TRAVELLING

Most of the job will be done online, nevertheless having a physical base in México City or Querétaro will be a major plus. 25% of travelling would be required.

CONTRACT RELATIONSHIP

The Key Account Manager will be able to invoice his/her services to the company as independent contractor. He/she will be responsible for tax responsibilities on his own as well as insurance and local labor mandates at local level.  There´re will be no labor relationship between Analytic Edge and the chosen candidate.
